The Denver Broncos have been to six Superbowls in 1977, 1986, 1987, 1989, 1997 and 1998. The Denver Broncos lost the first four but they won the last two due to the great play of Hall of Fame Quarterback John Elway. A classic Broncos moment was when the Superbowl was won, owner Pat Bowlen held up the Lombardi trophy and exclaimed "This ones for John".

In 2005, the Broncos advanced to the playoffs being guided by Quarterback Jake Plummer.

In 2006, the Broncos failed to make the playoffs. QB Jake Plummer was benched for rookie QB Jake Cutler mid-season.

In the 2007 NFL Draft, the Denver Broncos selected DE Jarvis Moss. The remaining selections were DE Tim Crowder, OT Ryan Harris and OT Marcus Thomas.
